Here’s what you’ll need:
1/2 Cup, natural applesauce
1 Tbsp (15g), Semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp, dark chocolate cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 scoop, Salted Carmel Quest protein powder
3 Tbsp, liquid egg whites
Here’s what you’ll do:
Spray a bowl or medium-to-large ramekin with cooking spray. Next, mix apple sauce, protein powder, egg whites, cocoa powder, and baking powder in to the bowl. Once you’ve mixed ingredients well, fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Microwave for 30-45 seconds. Make sure contents do not spill over the sides of the bowl. After heating, remove ramekin from microwave (be careful in case it’s hot!). Give the contents one stir and then put the ramekin back in the microwave for another 30-45 seconds. I usually repeat the cooking process three times. Again, BE CAREFUL as the ramekin might be very hot when you remove it from microwave. I’m sure you know to use potholders. 🙂
You can also bake this recipe at 350 degrees for 20 minutes in an oven proof baking dish.
