In this episode of Half Size Me, Heather interviews Lindsay.
In December of 2006, Lindsay flew to Las Vegas for vacation. And she could barely buckle her seat belt.
She wasn’t aware of seatbelt extensions, and she thought she was going to have to “fake it” until the flight attendant walked by.
The following month, she joined Weight Watchers at a starting weight of 304.8 pounds. She wore size 24 jeans and a 2XL top.
Since then, Lindsay’s lost 130 pounds.
She’s thrived in maintenance for over five years now, and her story will inspire you and motivate you to live a healthier, fuller life!
Find out more about Lindsay at her blog, Lindsay Is A Lifetime Member.
You’ll hear Lindsay talk about
— why acceptance is so important for long term maintenance
— why you shouldn’t to let loose skin hold you back after weight loss
— what weight maintenance is and why weight fluctuation doesn’t mean failure
— and much more!
This week’s quotes:
“People often say that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder,’ and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves.” -Salma Hayek
“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.” – Marilyn Monroe
