Weekly Menu Plan: April 30 – May 6, 2012

27 April

Apples by Jennuine Captures - from Flickr - Creative Commons licenseby Heather Robertson

This week I bought a slew of apples, so I’m excited to try the apple snack recipes that I found. I love simple, healthy, snack recipes that the kiddos will eat.

I love to doctor up bottled-pasta sauce, so my attempt at making it from scratch will be an awesome adventure.

If you’ve tried a new recipe that you love please share it in the comments section.

I’m always up for trying something new!

Have a great week and don’t forget: if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

    Heather!

OMG! Thank you for leaving the comment at my blog that lead me to yours! This is crazy! I love how we both started our podcasts around the same time and are interviewing the same sort of people. You have to let me interview you! I’ll send a message to you privately with the hope you will do me the honor of asking about your story.

I’m loving your meal plan for the week. So many simple, hearty recipes. Can you explain how to make crock pot buffalo chicken? Is that just chicken is some sort of sauce or spices cooked in a crock pot and then, once done, put in lettuce leaves? (Sorry, I’m not much of a cook, but I’m interested in doing more crock pot dishes).

Thanks Wendy! I am so glad you checked out my menu. I forgot to put the link in for the buffalo chicken so I fixed it. I would never have noticed it had you not asked ;) Email me at heather@halfsizeme.com and we can discuss an interview. Thanks again for checking out the menu and now you can see the recipe for the buffalo chicken. Have a great week!
