Healthy eating tip of the week: Don’t buy Halloween Candy until the day before Halloween and only get the stuff you really don’t like. For me, that would be Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, Double Bubble and Candy Corns.
I pick those because I would not be tempted to eat them. I know NEVER to buy Reese’s Cups, Snickers, Twix, Baby Ruth, M&M, or anything else with chocolate.
I find those treats are a huge trigger for binge eating and having bags of them in my house is too tempting for me!
Items that have a star beside them (*) will be items I make ahead on the weekend to allow my week to run smoother.
Remember, one hour in the kitchen on the weekends can make all the difference in the world when the hectic week kicks in!
