119_ImageIn this episode of Half Size Me, Heather talks to Erika about

  • how the compliments from others made her face her guilt about not being true to herself.
  • what misconceptions Erika had about weight loss and how she’s changed her views.
  • why Erika feels slow progression was what helped her succeed in losing weight and getting healthy.
  • and much more!

About Erika:I have been overweight/obese the majority of my life. In 2012, there were several catalysts that resulted in the beginning of my weight loss journey. I believe patience, perseverance, and discipline are the key to success!

To date I have lost 80 lbs, 12.75 inches off my waist, and reduced my body fat by 10 percent! I worked off the weight through clean eating, calorie counting, and a lot of exercise!

I do still struggle with myself from time to time but am fortunate to have a beautiful fiancee, Laura, a steadfast trainer, and strong support system in my family and friends to keep me motivated in those times of weakness.

Through it all, there is one phrase I hold onto that I believe can carry you through any of those difficult times:”

Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside of you that is greater than any obstacle“. –Anonymous
