About Hammond: “My name is Hammond Chamberlain. I am a husband of almost 14 years and father of two lovely little girls 5 and 9.
When I was in high school I played all kinds of sports and was really active. Once I got into college, I started having issues with my ankles and it was hard to stay active.
My weight started becoming an issue in the early 90’s. It was getting bad. When I got married in 2000. I hoped that I would make some changes, but I was working weird shift work in a high stress job.
At my heaviest, I was well over 265. I stopped weighing at that point.
In 2010, I had an event in a Target parking lot that changed me.
I thought I was having a heart attack and was going to die.
It turned out to be my gallbladder. I had it removed and lost a bunch of weight. I started putting it back on.
Around valentines day 2011, my wife and I started weight watchers. In that time I have lost 55- 60 pounds.
