From Deanna’s Facebook About page: “My name is Deanna. I am 32 years old. I’m married, and the mom of three beautiful babies. And I’ve been ‘The Fat Friend’ and ‘The Fat Mom’ for over ten years now.
I have been off and on various weight loss plans for the entirety of my adult life. Then, in July 2011, after falling off the wagon of one of these journies, I found myself at less than ten pounds from 300.
I was devastated that I had allowed myself to reach that point – less than 20 pounds from my heaviest weight ever recorded, which was 314 pounds, on the day I brought my youngest home from the hospital in 2010. I hit a wall and decided to begin a journey through SparkPeople.com and this blog.
I share motivation, inspiration, and preach self-love. I have a zero tolerance policy for ugly, so don’t bring it to my page.”
In this episode, you’ll hear how
— Deanna removed deadlines to make healthy eating a permanent way of life
— a stranger’s rude, embarrassing comment pushed Deanna to share her story
— after almost ending her life due to depression, Deanna got the help she needed
— and much more!
